Nominees sought for Outstanding Educator /Employee

Penn Manor has many outstanding teachers and staff members, and you can nominate them for the recognition they deserve through the Outstanding Educator/Employee Awards program.

The school district will present the 2024-2025 awards for Outstanding Elementary Educator, Outstanding Secondary Educator and Outstanding Employee in May 2025.

Nominations for these awards are being accepted through March 14 and can be submitted by parents/guardians, students and colleagues of Penn Manor staff members. Nominations will be accepted online only.

Last year’s honorees were Outstanding Elementary Educator Mark Andrew, an applied engineering teacher at Central Manor and Hambright Elementary Schools; Doug Kramer, student support facilitator at Penn Manor High School, the Outstanding Secondary Teacher; and Outstanding Employee of the Year Kelly McNeal, Penn Manor’s athletic trainer.

Please note that honorees from previous years are not eligible this year.

The Outstanding Educator Awards should be based on a teacher’s ability to promote academic growth in her/his students and for outstanding pupil-teacher relationships. A person may nominate one elementary teacher, one secondary teacher or one teacher on each level. The nominee must be currently employed by Penn Manor School District.

Outstanding Employee Awards should be based on a staff member’s ability to support the educational program and the quality of his/her relationships with staff and students. A person may nominate one elementary staff member, one secondary staff member or one employee on each level. The nominee must be currently employed by Penn Manor.

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge the hard work of our employees!
